Shift dresses are always one of my to go clothings, they are comfortable,  chic and easily paired with anything. in today's post, i paired this outfit with a pair of fringe shoes to keep it minimal and not to draw away from the pajama floral theme looking.



To give it a casual look but chic look, I would pair the dress with a pair of white tennis sneakers and I fit were to be during the fall or winter I would pair it with leggings or fish- net stockings with boots depending on the look you going. shift dresses are versatile and they have become one of my must-have clothing.

I went on the first day on the first day along with my sister and I was wowed, this is my first time attending such type of event. there were different food trucks selling all kind of street food, like tacos, hamburgers, loaded fries, corns, funnel cakes, cotton candy, hotdogs, lobster dishes, waffles, empanadas etc Supposedly there were to be about 30 food trucks serving but it didn't look like it was up to that  amount, however, i wouldn't be sure if that amount included junk food they served that day as well.








My next meal was loaded fries aka seasoned fries, with cheese and bacon, anyone that knows me knows how much I love fries. one thing I regret is that I choose to eat this next, boy did i get a food coma after this, should have saved this for last.

Hello everyone, how are you all doing? I hope you are all doing well. It has been a while, so life got in the way and I don't mean school, work or other stuff that people give as excuses. This past few month was rough like I hit rock bottom, from losing a job to getting the most unpleasant news of my life so I had lost all inspiration to blog or do anything including social media. 

Despite it all, I owe everything all to my siblings their support couldn't have more than enough and also I owe it to God for being merciful, loving and faithful to me. Psalm 51 was my pillar the whole time, whatever you might be going through remember that God is our pillar and he knows it all; never hesitate to lay it all at his feet like his word said in Matthew 11:28 "come unto me all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. 

So with that being said folks, I am glad to say I am back and better and for today's post I pair up my favorite Denim on Denim along with my favorite fur vest that I bagged for a good deal. It's officially spring weather and some days it does feel like spring, on the other hand, it doesn't feel like spring and it looks like April showers have carried on into May weather.

Hey lovelies, how are you all doing? Happy new year to you all, I hope the new year is off to a great start for you well as for me it has been great so far...but am really not feeling school right now at the moment.  So in today's post, i bring you something different, I am going to be talking about new year's resolution; my thoughts about resolution and what have got laid out for the year 2017.



Today's post is kind of late considering the new month of the new year is almost halfway done, however, this was an unprepared post. I do not believe in resolutions and what not, resolutions are just unrealistic things we come up with just to feel among and claim we have goals or things to accomplish in the upcoming year. The truth is at least 60 percent if not more, do not accomplish any of their resolutions so why bother trying to feel among.

So, therefore, i titled today's post "Room for growth" because it wasn't a planned post, it came on the spur of the moment. I was thinking of the things I want to get done in the new year and listing them down I realized these were things that would help me grow mostly as an individual as well as a blogger.

Firstly one of the things that I am hoping to accomplish this year is to revamp my blog, tweaking a lot of things about my blog and creating nonrelated fashion ideas or topics. So stay tuned for more!!



In life we often take little things for granted, looking back at my life from the middle of 2016 up to this very moment I have definitely come a long way even though I might not be where I need to be and all these wouldn't have been possible without GOD the giver of life. I am looking forward to better my relationship with him.

I used to be a lover of books (technically I am still a lover of books) and this is as result of me falling off from reading books from getting caught up with the things of life. So, therefore, I am going back to my roots which are reading more books this year and definitely not just any books, looking to read more inspirational books, books on fashion and style, books related to business, finance, and money etc. I will be sharing more about these as time goes on so watch out.

lastly, another goal or room for growth that I am looking forward to is to save more. People in my generations tend to get caught up with the things of life i.e buying things without thinking twice, absorbed with brand names. I believe saving every penny here and there counts eventually in the long run, although I have had the habit of saving right from when I was a kid so it has a never been a problem for me but I intend on trying another method of saving and hopefully we see how it works. I have had people tell me that I am this way have a saving habit all because I am an accounting major but saving does not only apply in the business world.

So for today's outfit post i paired a scuba skirt with a turtle neck top alongside with a pair of over the knee open toe boot which happens to be my favorite pair of boots to give a feisty yet but sexy look. i definitely love pairing this outfit because its so me, it definitely revealed another side of me.


I added a vest just to use as an accessory or as a cover up for someone who might be too conscious about the skirt, this outfit can be worn without the vest. My love for black has no ending.
