Hey lovelies, how are you all doing? Happy new year to you all, I hope the new year is off to a great start for you well as for me it has been great so far...but am really not feeling school right now at the moment.  So in today's post, i bring you something different, I am going to be talking about new year's resolution; my thoughts about resolution and what have got laid out for the year 2017.



Today's post is kind of late considering the new month of the new year is almost halfway done, however, this was an unprepared post. I do not believe in resolutions and what not, resolutions are just unrealistic things we come up with just to feel among and claim we have goals or things to accomplish in the upcoming year. The truth is at least 60 percent if not more, do not accomplish any of their resolutions so why bother trying to feel among.

So, therefore, i titled today's post "Room for growth" because it wasn't a planned post, it came on the spur of the moment. I was thinking of the things I want to get done in the new year and listing them down I realized these were things that would help me grow mostly as an individual as well as a blogger.

Firstly one of the things that I am hoping to accomplish this year is to revamp my blog, tweaking a lot of things about my blog and creating nonrelated fashion ideas or topics. So stay tuned for more!!



In life we often take little things for granted, looking back at my life from the middle of 2016 up to this very moment I have definitely come a long way even though I might not be where I need to be and all these wouldn't have been possible without GOD the giver of life. I am looking forward to better my relationship with him.

I used to be a lover of books (technically I am still a lover of books) and this is as result of me falling off from reading books from getting caught up with the things of life. So, therefore, I am going back to my roots which are reading more books this year and definitely not just any books, looking to read more inspirational books, books on fashion and style, books related to business, finance, and money etc. I will be sharing more about these as time goes on so watch out.

lastly, another goal or room for growth that I am looking forward to is to save more. People in my generations tend to get caught up with the things of life i.e buying things without thinking twice, absorbed with brand names. I believe saving every penny here and there counts eventually in the long run, although I have had the habit of saving right from when I was a kid so it has a never been a problem for me but I intend on trying another method of saving and hopefully we see how it works. I have had people tell me that I am this way have a saving habit all because I am an accounting major but saving does not only apply in the business world.
